Fontys for society
Fontys is a multidisciplinary university of applied sciences in the southern part of the Netherlands. Together with and for the (regional) professional field, we provide high-quality higher professional education and conduct innovative practice-oriented research. Based on our social responsibility, we want to actively respond to sustainability developments and set an example for our environment in this regard.

A sustainable school
We prepare students for the world of tomorrow, so that they can contribute to solving societal challenges. We do this by giving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a central place in our education and research.
But sustainability is also central to our daily actions in the field of energy, climate, healthy buildings and responsible purchasing. For example, we are focusing on CO2-neutral business operations (by 2030), on only buildings with energy label A (in 2023), we generate our own energy and we want to be 75% gas-free by 2030. We also purchase consciously and as circularly as possible. That is why you will only find sustainable business gifts in this webshop. In this way we contribute together to the development power of a vital, inclusive and sustainable society.
